  « LABEL SUD » PRICE

Phonopaca has rewarded two artists and delivered the « Label Sud » prize.

During the opening party, on March the 31st, Phonopaca gave the first « Labels Sud ». The ethno-electro-jazzy band, LoOp, and the swing vocal trio, Delizioso, were rewarded by Bernard Coquelet (president of Phonopaca).

Michel Vauzelle, president of the régional council PACA, also gave the artists a golden Olive Tree.

The giving of these « Labels Sud », during the Babel Med Forum, awards artists whose carrer is recognised by the independant professionals of the musical industry from the region of Southern France.

Phonopaca is looking for coordinating a soon as possible a musical event to award various musical categories composed of artists from the region of Southern France or developed by régional professionals. « Labels Sud » aims at distinguishing and favouring artistes in a key moment of their career, that is to say the difficult transition to become more famous. For the next Bab el Med Forum, the prize will be accompanied by an acces to more diffusion rooms and more tours and/or to funds allowing to think of a 2d or a 3rd album.

This project has been shown to the regional cultural contacts and elected members, to some representative members of the SACEM, ADAMI, Snep…all of them aroused a lively interest regarding such an important event.
